High-Quality Custom & Standard Socket Products

What are Socket Products?

Socket head bolts and screws are highly specialized fasteners designed specifically for applications requiring limited or exceptionally low clearance, where parts may not be thick enough to be deeply counterbored, or where maximum loading capacity is not the primary critical factor. For over three decades, U-Bolt-It has proudly supplied the industry with a massive inventory of socket products manufactured from premium, industrial-grade materials, including standard steel, highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and brass.

Comprehensive Socket Fastener Inventory

We work closely with each client to ensure the selection of the perfect fastener for their specific application. Our primary socket product categories include:

  • Button Head and Socket Cap Screws: Button socket head screws feature a smooth raised-dome head offering exceptional durability for automotive, electronics, and machinery assemblies. Socket cap screws provide heavy-duty performance widely utilized in industrial assembly lines, steel fabrication, and machine tooling. We also offer custom coatings to significantly increase corrosion resistance, improve electrical conductivity, and harden the final finish.
  • Jack Bolts and Socket Shoulder Bolts: Jack bolts are specialized long stud bolts that utilize tension to securely hold parts in place or physically jack/move heavy machinery into perfect alignment, drastically speeding up assembly. Socket shoulder bolts feature a distinct head, an unthreaded shoulder section, and threaded tip to perform specific rotational or sliding functions with a strictly controlled axial force limit.
  • Slotted and Socket Set Screws: Also known as grub screws, these headless threaded fasteners are driven flush to secure two objects together—such as affixing a gear to a shaft—by exerting direct compressive pressure. Slotted set screws can be driven with a standard flat blade screwdriver, while socket set screws utilize a six-sided internal hex drive to heavily resist cam-out and provide high installation torque in exceptionally tight spaces.
